Alex Schlosser Joins Magnum Systems as the Western Regional Sales Manager

Lenexa, KS — Magnum Systems, a North American manufacturer of bulk solids pneumatic conveying and packaging automation systems equipment, welcomes Alex Schlosser as the new Western Regional Sales Manager. Alex is the liaison for our clients in the food, bulk solids, chemical, and agricultural industries and our team of system designers, engineers and installers. He is building relationships with companies that have facilities located from Montana to New Mexico and all points west, including Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington.

While Alex’s sales career spans more than three decades, most recently he was in capital equipment sales with Southwest Equipment Group/PPI in Huntington Beach, California. His product line included equipment needed for integrated packaging, processing and inspection lines from over 30 vendors. Prior to that, Alex was a Regional Sales Manager for Sesotec, Inc. in Barlett, Illinois. He certified and calibrated machines and provided clients with technical and product training. Leading “Lunch & Learns” with prospects and customers, Alex expanded and shared his knowledge of equipment across food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Given Alex’s sales career goes back to the early 90s, two things remain consistent over the years: he’s always excelled at solving clients’ challenges, and therefore growing the company where he works. Plus, Alex was a deep sea fisherman in Alaska’s Bering Sea for 18 hours a day on four tours as a young man, learning the meaning of hard work early on in his career.

Alex says, “I’m passionate about building relationships. I dive deep into my customers’ needs and act as more of a consultant than a salesperson. A lot of people can sell, but I know it’s the post-sale service and communication that matter most. I’m the first point of contact from the beginning to the end and beyond. Selling for as many years as I have, I know the best years are still ahead of me thanks to all the experience I’ve gained.
