When our customers’ lines aren’t running efficiently or at all, they call people like us.
Everyone here, from customer service and accounting to shipping, rolls up their sleeves… So, when our customers press the Start button, their system just works – the first time and for years to come.
Magnum Systems was formed in 2001, but is built on two quality brands Smoot and Taylor Products, both dating back to the 60s. Smoot was founded in 1960 in Kansas City, KS with a focus on manufacturing pneumatic conveying systems, components, and our prized rotary airlock valves to serve all industries handling dry bulk solids. Taylor Products was founded in 1969 in Parsons, KS initially providing bagging and packaging equipment to the seed industry, and our offerings have expanded in bagging, packaging, and container handling through integrated technology like robotic automation.
We have two locations both in Kansas. Our corporate office is located just south of downtown Kansas City off 1-35 and Mission Rd (less than a mile from the famous original Joe’s KC BBQ and close to downtown). It’s home base for our machine shop and pneumatic conveying testing area. Plus, all our rotary valves are made at our Kansas City location.
Parsons, KS is where the remainder of our manufacturing happens in the fabrication, assembly and packaging testing areas. Parsons is the epitome of small town life – no traffic, people know your name and there are a few restaurant gems like Kitchen Pass, KP’s and Ernesto’s. Both locations are home to various leadership and administrative professionals.
If you’re looking to find a place where the people are passionate about what they do and work on a team that is looking toward the future Magnum Systems is the place for you.
